About Alice Howse
Parents unidentified. Alice (perhaps Lloyd) was the second wife of John Howse (1565-1630).
- Not the same as Alice Hulse, who married John Hulse, of Astley
- Not proven as child of Samuel Lloyd, Jr. & Margaret Lloyd
Rev. John Howse, perhaps the son of Thomas and Alice (Hinton) Howse, was born about 1570 and died on 30/Aug/1630 - Eastwell Par., Co. Kent, England - bur: 2/Sep/1630. His widow was Alice, perhaps Lloyd.
His first three children may have been by a first wife.
"Of his children, at least three emigrated to New England, which suggests that at least some members of the Howse family had Puritan sentiments."

At the time of his death, he was serving as the Anglican minister in Eastwell, Kent and the Eastwell parish register indicates that his remains were laid to rest at St Mary's Church in Eastwell.”
