Henrico County, Virginia, John Bolling in N. side of the James River on Licking Hole Creek; 27 May 1726, page 373; 350 acres; part beginning at THOMAS DAWSON's land on the low side of Licking Creek, crossing same to Thomas Ballow's land, on his own line to ALEXANDER LOGEN's line....

Deed: Goochland County, Virginia Wills & Deeds 1728-1736 page 30; GFO page 284: Deed 18 September 1731 Thomas DAWSON of Goochland County to Alexander LOGAN of same, for L50, land on north side of southern great fork of Licking Hole Creek, being Manor Plantation LOGAN lives on, next to DAWSON. Wit.: Thos. Murrell, Elizabeth E. DAWSON. Signed: Thomas DAWSON. Recorded 21 September 1731. Mary, wife of Thomas, relinquished her dower right.

In 1746 Goochland, Alexander and Ann (likely short for Hannah) Logan sued Charles Spurlock for trespass in Goochland. The Spurlocks lived on the James River.

Alexander Logan b. abt. 1705 in Henrico Co. VA and died bef. Dec. 1767 in Northam Parish, Goochland Co. VA .... He was married to Hannah Dawson abt. 1730 in Goochland Co. VA and they had 7 children. WILLIAM ANTHONY LOGAN, Mary Ann Logan b. 1731, Sarah Logan b. 1733, Elizabeth Logan b. 1745, Charles Logan, Annie Logan, and an unknown logan.

Alexander logan's parents were Thomas Logan and his mother was unknown. he was born in 1655 in Henrico Co. VA.

Thomas Logan's father was Alexander Logan.
