Alexander Leslie, Lord Balgonie [1]

Alexander Leslie, Lord Balgonie was the son of Alexander Leslie, 1st Earl of Leven and Agnes Renton.[1]

He married Lady Margaret Leslie, daughter of John Leslie, 6th Earl of Rothes and Lady Anne Erskine, in 1636.[1]

He died after 1642.[2] He died circa 12 January 1644.[1]

He was styled as Master of Leven.[3] He was styled as Lord Balgonie.[3]

Tjänade vid överste Mackays regemente under hela tyska kriget. Generaladjutant 1655 och bevistade drabbningen vid Bug. Kommendant å skansen Nowo Dwor 1655 och låg där i 2 år.

Överste och kommendant på Lowitz fästning samt var 1657 överste för generalissimi livregemente dragoner..

Kommendant i Nyenskans.

Död vid Nyenskans.

Hans mor var en Sinclair av huset Mourtell.

Gift med Sofia Vilhelmsdotter von Estorph (?), född i Skottland (????)
