About Alexander Theodor Klatschko
Alexander had studied engineering at the Technical University, Vienna. The outbreak of World War I caught him and his young family in Manchester, where he was employed as an electro-engineer. As an Austrian citizen he was interned on the Isle of Man, his family could be exfiltrated to Switzerland. He joined them only in 1917 and died of typhus two years later.
