  • he died of a heart complications. He had very bad lungs damaged from gases in World War I and on return, used to vomit green liquid ( a complication from the likes of mustard gas etc).
  • He is buried in the Arapohue Cemetery, Kaipara District, Northland, New Zealand
  • Arima went on to remarry in. 1926... to Walter Blackstock ( 3 years after Alexander died) and had 3 more children, Audrey, Vivienne, and Walter (Known as Bruce). Bruce was killed as a young man in a motorbike accident on a country road.
