Alexander of Craigdarroch was most likely NOT Nancy Ferguson Purvines paternal great-grandfather; her great-grandfather was more likely to have Alexander Ferguson, a Scotch Tory possibly from Balyonkan, fled from Scotland to Virginia in 1716.
