When Sir Alexander Bruce, 5th Lord of Livingstone was born in 1530 in Airth, Stirlingshire, Scotland, his father, Sir, was 25 and his mother, Janet, was 20. He married Janet LIVINGSTON in 1547 in Burgh, Lanarkshire, Scotland. They had 15 children in 21 years. He died as a young father in 1551 in his hometown.
