Son of CHARLES/CARLE HEU/HOY & MARIA EVA SCHAURER
Military: Cited for patriotic service in the Revolutionary War
Occupation: Farmer
Born: Jan 15, 1736(?), Rohrbach, Bergzaben, Bavaria, Prussia
Married: Apr 17, 1759, SUSANNA SNEBLE/SNAVELY, Wolmesdorf, Berks Co., Pennsylvania, Host Reformed Church (b. 1738 - d. 1831)
....Immigrated: Sep 25, 1751, from Pallantine, Wofrhine, German (sailing from England) on the Phoenix. As he could neither read nor write, his name is noted as Albrecht (X) Heu (with two dots over "u"). His father is listed as Hey. (Source: Court House records in Philadelphia)
They settled in Tulpehocken Township, Pennsylvania (which no longer exists), 5 miles north of Womelsdorf, Berks Co., Pennsylvania....
Notes: There is no village known as "Wofrhine" in Germany. I think it is a transcription mistake. There is a place called "Wörth am Rhein". The pronouncing sounds similiar and is not so far away from Steinweiler / Rohrbach.
