Lady Agnes Hunt, born about 1532, died after 1578, was the daughter of William Hunte and Ellen Crochrode. She was born in Gosfield, Essex, England.[1]

Agnes was the second wife of Thomas Whitebred, born abt 1520, will written 28 January 1599, of White Norley, Essex, England. On the 1558 Visitation of Essex, Thomas and Agnes have five children listed: Henry, Mary, Ellen, Agnes, and John. The Whitbred Pedigree was certified by W. Hervey al's Clarenceux, 24 July 1561, on p.520. On both Visitations son John Whitebred of Writtle in Essex married Joane daughter of Charles Vaughan of Dartford in Kent.[1]

In the will of her mother, Ellen Crochrode Hunt dated 6 September 1578, she mentions her daughter Agnes Whitbread, and lists five of Agnes' children: John Whitehead, Henry Whitehead, Mary Whitehead, Agnes Whitehead, and Ellen Whitehead.[2]

4. Agnes Whitbread, born abt 1560, mentioned in brother John's will of 1624, married Henry Wright of Whitnothy [1]
5. Ellen Whitbread, born abt 1562, o.b.s.p.[1]
