RICHARD STONE, b. abt. 1545; was a yeoman in Great Bromley where he
succeeded to lands called " The Leez," according to the will of his father [Simon Stone--mother Agnes]. He was living as late as 1600 but he left no will and the time of his decease is unknown.

He m. abt. 1575, JOANE .

• 10. RICHARD, bapt. 10 Aug. 1600; was living at Great Bromleyin 1638 when he is listed there on the ship-money tax.He m. (1) at Great Bromley, 31 Jan. 1627/8, SUSANNICHOLL. He m. (2), at Great Bromley, 24 Jan. 1631/2, HELENA GUDDAY, widow. Child by first wife (Stone):
