  • ' Agnes de la Bere was born circa 1418 probably at Herefordshire, England, where her father lived. She married firstly to William ap Thomas [1401- 25 August 1437], with who she had a son John ap William, who was also known as John Herle. In 1432 William ap Thomas inherited the Manor of Stoke Bliss from his father Thomas ap Philip Vaughan. William settled it on his wife Agnes in 1434. When William died in 1437, he left a son and heir John, 2 years of age.
