The small town of Bronkhorst lies on the eastern bank of the river IJssel, about 10 km south of Zutphen in the present-day Dutch province of Gelderland.
1. ADAM van Bronkhorst (-after [1127/31]). “Adam de Brunchorst...” witnessed the charter dated to [1127/31] under which “comes Gerhardus coadunato filio suo Heinrico” [Gerard Graaf van Gelre] donated “capellam...in Ellenchem” to Zutfen church[355].
