About Adam de Bosville de Oxmuir
This Robert Bosville was the father of Adam de Bosville de Oxmuir, &c., who is mentioned in an obligation of Philip de Lochore, the 21st year of the reign of King Alexander the Second (1235).
His son and successor, Roger de Bosville, got a charter of the lands of Oxmuir from that monarch.
