Adam Beamer's father was a widower. He married again to a woman who had been married to John Gerard Albaugh. . She was a widow with a family by her first husband. Strange as it may seem, four of Adam's brothers, married four of the Albaugh girls. Elizabeth Albaugh was one of the four girls who married into the Beamer family. Elizabeth Albaugh married Adam Beamer. This entire family came to Carroll County, Ohio. They were early pioneers in the settling up of this county in Ohio. Adam's step-mother (Mrs. John Albaugh Beamer) died on the way to Ohio. Adam & his brothers & sisters & the Albaugh girls& their brothers along with Adam's father (Mr. Beamer, who was a widower again) settled in Carrollton, Ohio & Dell Roy, Ohio & Sherodsville, Ohio.
