About Abraham Stauffer
Abraham was a tax collector and inherited his brother Heinrich's land in Ibersheim in 1832. His nieces Christian and Barbara, daugther of his brother Christian Stauffer lived with him after 1820. He was called a tax collector of Ibersheim on 22 Mar 1811 when he bought land from Heinrich Mitzig of Rheindurkheim. He was a tax collector and public buying agent of the municipalities of Hamm and Rheindurkheim when he was mentioned in a guarantee deposit certificate of 8 Oct 1814.
