Abigail Warren, a daughter of Richard Warren and Elizabeth Walker, was born about 1618, probably in Great Amwell, Hertfordshire, England Richard Warren's Origin and died after January 3, 1693. On this date she swore to the inventory of her husband's estate in Marshfield, Massachusetts.
Abigail came to Plymouth on the "Anne" in 1623 with her mother and four sisters. She married Anthony Snow on November 8, 1639 in Plymouth.<PCR 1:134> She received,as a marriage portion, from her mother, on January 9, 1639, a deed for a house situated near Wellingsley. Wellingsley, also known as Wellingsly, Jabez Corner, and Hobs Hole, is a neighborhood in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It is notable for being the oldest separate neighborhood in the town. Wellingsley is located one mile south of Plymouth Center and north of Chiltonville.
