Abigail Estey (Kimball) descends from the House of Percy and the House of Neville, two of England's stong houses in the North, and both of which were very involved in the War of the Roses. Many of her ancestors fought and died for the cause of the Lancasters. She has links to the Plantagenets as well.

John Kimball born in Rattlesden, county of Suffolk, England 1631, married about 1655, Mary Bradstreet,[1] born in England 1633, and came to New England with her parents in the same ship which brought John Kimball about 1655.[1] Their daughter Abigail was born March 22, 1667 at Ipswich, Massachusetts.[1] (p. 40, p. 56)[2]

On 14 October 1689, at Topsfield, she married 1st Isaac Estey, son of Isaac and Mary (Towne) Etsey, was born about 1656 at Topsfield, Massachusetts and died before 3 May 1714. [3] His will was proved, May 3, 1714.

Isaac Estey married Abigail Kimball, daughter of John and Mary (Bradstreet) Kimball, on October 14, 1689 in Topsfield.[1]. He was the son of Isaac and Mary (Towne) Etsey, was born about 1656 at Topsfield, Massachusetts and died before 3 May 1714;[1] will was proved, May 3, 1714.

After his death she married second, William Poole of Reading, Massachusetts on April 25, 1718 at Topsfield.[1] William was born January 8, 1676 and was [NOT] the son of Captain Jonathan and Judith (Jacobs) Poole of Reading.

She died there February 12, 1760.[1]
