Biography
Abigail Sharp was born in England in late 1629 or early 1630; the daughter of Samuel and Alice (Stileman) Sharp.
Abigail married, by 1648, to Thomas Jeggles. The year of marriage is established by their eldest child being born at Salem 21 July 1648. Robert Charles Anderson says on page 1654 of "The Great Migration Begins", "Raymon Meyers Tingley gives the marriage date as 27 October 1647 [Tingley-Meyers 164], but as no other source, including the Salem vital records, reports this event, we may say with great assurance that this date has been invented.)"[1]
