Daniel Cady, son of James Cady & Hannah Barron, moved from Groton to Killingly in 1707, then to Aspinock, and settled on a farm next to that of his uncle, Captain Joseph Cady, returning to Killingly in 1730.
He married Abigail Philbrick, who was born on March 6, 1686-87, daughter of Ephraim and Elizabeth (Barron) Philbrick.
