Stromer or Strommer from Gefle Sweden

Hello,

Trying to help a friend with his family tree.... looking for Johan Alfred Strommer (1842-1920) who married Anna Maria Ask(1840-1918), they lived in the Gelfe(Gavle) Sweden area...had the following childred... Carl Johan(1865-1950) Joel Alfred(1870-1896 drowned in Japan) Oscar Leonard(1876-1946) Adolph Fredrick(1879-1918) August(1883-1961) and Selma(1886-1978). The info says they lived at *Brynas Atlas #2).... all of the children came to USA in early 1900's.
Looking for info on Johan Alfred and Anna and their ancestors....

I've just found your old message and have replied on the off chance that your enquirie is still open.
My GG Grandmother Brita Katarina Strömmer (1824 - 1872) was sister to Johan Strommer (1814 - 1854) who was father of Johan Alfred Strommer (1842-1920) of Gelfe(Gavle) Sweden.
I've been researching their forefathers in Sweden, and their decendants to USA and Australia.
