I hope this is the proff of Naky Browns, Wards parents.
Peace and the great spirit.

Sadly it's not - it's where we started a couple years ago. :):). The tombstone image itself just has Sarah, an Indian; no proof of parents.

(When you see links in a FindAGrave memorial, it's the same as any other tree; an entry. Some trees / Memorial pages cite records and of course that's very helpful).

I'm research my Susannah Brown, Proctor my third great aunt.. I do not know what I will find, most of my life I was told about my heritage. I think the key to your answers could be with one of my family members. You all are related to me if you are Wards.
Naky Brown Ward married Mr. Ward and all the children are related To me. Nakey Brown Ward is my 4 Th Great Grandmother.

Of course we're connected ! Also if Sara (or Naky) can be proved to have been a sister (or half sister) to Abigail
(Eastridge) Roark, said to have been a daughter of Dragging Canoe, it gets closer, as I have great great aunts who married Roark brothers. So far though it's all unprovable as far as I can tell.

Yup, I've seen these trees. I don't think the parents are proveable as yet. Maybe though through DNA test results of descendants it can be ruled in / out that Abigail & Sara / Naky were sisters or 1/2 sisters at least.

The only one I'm looking is Enoch John Ward...son of Nathan Ward and Naky Sarah Canoe....It seems that Wells Ward might be the father of Nathan..The father of Naky is chief Dragging Canoe....mother Leaf Nellie Pathkiller.
