I know there is very little if any information on Michael Dunne... Did he die of natural causes, or was his death a cause of the Irish War of Indepenance and the afterwards onsought of the Irish Civil War? It says he died about 1922, so this would place him in the time frame.
I just found your comment now. My mother told me that he died suddenly from natural causes. He had been complaining of stomach pains but this had not been investigated. His son John died from stomach problems too in his forties. He had been in hospital and doctors had suggested an operation but he refused.
