I'm terribly sorry to bother you, but I have been searching and logging my own family genealogy to trace my roots as of late. I found a gap due to lost information and was trying to start the search into the past by looking for potential relatives of my third great grandfather Samuel Garland.
He was born in december
He entered action in the Civil War during the summer of 1861.
He was KIA in 1862.
He married and fathered one son, also named Samuel.
AND his wife died very young.
I was very much hoping I had made a match, but the data is stil too conflicting. I just can't believe I found such a CLOSE relation with the same name! Strange how these parallels will pop up in history isn't it?
Raschel, it looks like you're trying to reach the manager of Brig. General Samuel Garland, Jr. (CSA)'s profile. The best way to do that is to go back to Brig. Gen. Garland's profile and click on the "Contact Profile Manager" link at the upper-right-hand corner. If you contact the manager that way, you far are more likely to get a response. Good luck!
