Nee: Mercy Anna Eddy - b. 1800 - d. 1862 South Starksboro

I long to know who the two other children were. Ziba and Mary (Mercy) were baptized together in the Baptist Church in Ira, VT. They were thought to be either John’s and/or William's children.

I've corresponded with a gentleman from this site and he was very helpful. Could someone in the know please help me further - to determine who were the other two children were.

It is possible that my Mercy Anna Eddy aka Mary was conceived prior to their marriage. Anna and John are cousins. Mercy (Mary) Anna Eddy was said to have been born in Massachusetts or Vermont... I am guessing Massachusetts. They may have been in transition, leaving for Vermont soon after their marriage.

Mercy Anna Eddy (aka Mary) and her 'second' husband Alvin H. Lilly, lived with Mercy Eddy wife of Israel for a few years and then purchased property in 1840 in South Starksboro.

Hiram Eddy lived next door to the Gilley's in Huntington which is on the border of Addison and Chittenden. The Gilley's are related to me as well through my gggrandfather’s line.

Please, if someone has data on a Mercy Anna Eddy - aka Mary - born either in Vermont or Massachusetts and daughter of John or William, I would be deeply grateful if you would write to me.
