I don't know if anyone else will come along and read this, but I thought I should mention that our long lost relative has found her family; Susie's daughter is named Cathy, and she made her way to us after finding out just 3 years ago that she was adopted, then getting a first name of Susan out of an Aunt, that Aunt later got the last name of Leslie from a niece (Carol) that worked with our Susie, and Carol was basically the one who helped facilitate the whole adoption. After Cathy had a first and last name, she looked on classmates.com for a Susan Leslie in the time frame she was born in, and found a Susan Leslie in Norte High School yearbook for 1965, then later when they scanned in the 1966 yearbook, Cathy got a more complete name of Susan Ann Leslie. And when she went searching with THAT info, she ended up at this geni.com entry. This all took place over that 3 years, I made it a very short story. Cathy was born in Riverside and was raised in Las Vegas immediately afterwards; I can only imagine her excitement at seeing my reference to looking for a daughter under just those circumstances, along with the disappointment of also finding that said mother had already passed. And so we have come together, Susie's daughter Cathy and the rest of her new found family, albeit only on the mother's side. We still don't know who her father was! Yay internet. Tim
