Best Rudoph,
I think it is unlikely, but not impossible, that Joachim was the father of Johann.
Firstly Johann was from Königstein, Saxony, while Joachim was from Shandau, Germany.
Secondly, Johann only married for the first time in 1677. (25 years after the death of Joachim) Which means he had to be very young when his father died at the age of 60.
Thirdly, Johann had three sons: Dirk, Hendrik and Jan. As per tradition it was unlikely that he would not name one of them after his father. Traditionally the first son would have been named after his father, unless his father was also named Johann, in which case the first son may have been named after his father-in-law.
As stated, this is only my opinion. Perhaps there is proof somewhere.

Accordiing to Susann Palmer it is certain that this Joachim was the father of Johann (Hans) the direct ancestor of the Kotze families in South Africa. Joachim had 9 children born 1635-1652 (i.e. Johann and his siblings). (What is not certain though, is who the father of this Joachim was, but it would seem most likely that it was Hans the Elder, meaning that there are 2 Joachim's each with a father called Hans).
