My great grandfather W.D. Cornelius b. 1840 in N.C. married Rhoena L. Arey. His mother was Hestor Cornelius and father was probably William. By 1850 his mother was widowed and they were living with David and Sarah Rankin. After the Civil War they moved to Mason County, W.Va. By 1900 W.D. and Rhoena were in Adams County, Ohio where their graves are located. Their eldest daughter Cora Cornelius Hanners was my grandmother. I desire to know more about the Cornelius family.
