According to "Our Family - From Roots to Nuts' Sir John's Father was Sir John Hoge I
Only the year of Death is different (1600 not 1682)

Thomas did anyone question if he died in 1600 would George really be his son as George was born in 1606?

I'm thinking that it must have ment in the 1600s and did not have an exact year
