I agree with you, Sandra. Bob Bennett was my mother's biological father. No doubt, Bob's biological mother was Leora Rebecca Joyner Bennett Ellison, my great grandmother. I have not been able to find any record of marriage to a Ryals, so far. However, the name of Charles "Charlie" Bennett has been brought into question. There does not seem to be any connection at this time and is unverified. If it was so, then possibly he was by the same father as Bob Bennett, but another mother, making Bob and Charlie stepbrothers. However, this does not seem to be substantiated that I know & have asked relatives of Bob Bennett with no knowledge.
