Wind Energy Generator in Attappadi and Mannarkkad Moopil Sthanam

@ All or many of you may not be aware of the true fact that the WEGs in Attappadi are situated in our own land-means the land owned by the Mannarkkad Moopil Sthanam. We were holding it since centuries till 1956. The last sthani ornated the salutation as Mannarkkad Moopil Nair was late Thathunni Moopil Nair who died on 03-01-1960. Since that day the properties under Mannarkkad Moopil Sthanam devolved equally into the hands of 33 sharer/members in the suit for partition O.S.65/56. Upon proclamation of the Private Forest Vesting and Assignment Act and the Land Acquisition Act and allied rules in the ninteen seventees, encroachers from all over Kerala with an eagle's eye scanned Attappady Malavaram as a whole with the visible support of some of the employees in the office of Mannarkkad Moopil Sthanam. One Mohammed mysteriously appeared from nowhere and created fraudulent MR(according to him Moopil Sthanam Receipt = Originaly Miscellanious Receipt) began sale and distribution among the encroachers. Corrupt officers in the Revenue Department minted money and issued Certificate of Purchase. Against wilful propaganda on visual media that Mannarkkad Moopil Sthanam also have an involvement in the illicit wood cutting in Palakkayam, I personally protested and appeared before Asianet on 28-2-2000 defending the Moopil Sthanam. This was repeatedly telecasted in "Kannadi" since then that resulted in investigation by higher authorities ended in appointing a Deputy Collector to verify the truth behind it and report. That Deputy Collector endorsed a list consisting 1424 numbers bogus Certificates !.

The property in which the WEGs are installed are ours - ours own. The report of the Senior IAS officers headed by Dr. P. Prabhakaran the Chief Secretary of Kerala give light to what I have represented before the Government and my arguments are accepted that lead to whole hearted acceptance of the Report of Mr. Mohan Kumar the District Collector of Palakkad as well as the Cabinet on 12-11-2010. The Committee recommended to the Government that the documents fraudulently created for illicit transaction without proper base documents are to be cancelled. The property in which the WEGs are situated are not Tribal Land. I have till date provided more than 160 pages of invaluable records before the High Level Committee for and on behalf of my co-sharer/members. These documents have found place in the 460 page Report of the Chief Secretary submitted to the Cabinet and subsequently admitted by them.

The Revenue Department has informed me that the survey work in 991 Survey numbers consisting of total 3210 sub division total = 2644.7618 Hectre uptill 26-02-2011 has been completed. Joint Team work to ascertain the rights by Revenue, Survey, Tribal Development Department have already begun. To complete the mission they have newly engaged 49 surveyors on 23-02-1011. This subject is placed before my co-sharer/members who do not have any idea of what they really own and how they are rich. If there is platform provided, I personally convince each and everybody in case they have full hearted enthusiasm and will. I am sure jointly we are still strong; how strong our enemy is should not be an obstacle. I believe, if there is a will there is a way.
