I may be willing to help. I don't know if I have any connection to the family. But I do work a lot with colonial families. What do you see the project entailing?

@Erica, Im a descendent of Robert Leeds. A friend of mine on Ancestry.com printed out a relationship, robert being the son of Felix Leeds, and Felix the son of Nehemiah. Nehemiah was the son of Deborah Smith, or Mother Leeds, the mother of the Jersey devil. However, i do not have the resources to prove if the relationship is right, im not an ancestry member. @tammy, i dont see it entailing much other than me telling people im related to the jersey devil, haha

Basically what i need to know is if Felix Leeds( abt. 1733-1797) is the father of Robert Leeds. And if Robert Leeds (abt. 1774-1850) is the father of Roxana Leeds/Huntley.

Have you searched Geni for public profiles of these ancestors and posted their links here?

With the page you just posted - which clearly caveated that it's not primary sources, so I appreciate it! - I think we have enough to go on for a "Jersey Devil" project (or whatever you want to name it.)

Do you want to start the Project and then I'll add the public profiles you've posted? Profiles added to project can be edited by any collaborator on the Project.
