He immigrated some time before 1882.
He has one brother Christ Martin who lived at/by Olanda, Montana. 40 miles north of Terry, MT.
I am going to speculate they immigrated at the same time. I have no proof of this.
Chris Martin's first Children were born in Grossfahner (1874). Later children in Wisconsin or MT.
Christ Martin and Fritz Martin also married sisters with the last name Grobe.
Chris Martin was known to be an uncle to August Carl Martin 2 miles away at Olanda, MT.
