I am trying to trace my family tree. To move further back, I need details on the parents of Thomas C. Scholes, B 15 Jul 1827, Leeds, Yorkshire, England. D 19 Sept 1906, Dunsmuir, California. M 26 Feb 1851 in Burlington, Des Moines, Iowa to Harriet C. Happing. They had 12 children, including Charles F Scholes and I am a descendant of him. All I know about Thomas' parents are names; Father = George Scholes, B Lincolnshire, England and Mother = Mary Coggin (or Coggins) also born in Lincolnshire, England. They were both born about 1800, and they may have been married in 1826.
