My grandfather was Joseph Levac who was married to Rita (Deruchia) Levac and his siblings were Richard Levac (owned a hair salon on East Orvis St.), Larry Levac who still resides in Massena, Doreen, I believe, who lived in Cornwall and has passed away, Romaine who was married to John Durenceau, and I am sure I am missing a few others. My grandfather did come from Canada but I am not sure of the details. I do know that they grew up on 420 (South Main Street) For some reason I think I remember my father (Steven Levac) mentioning a Mae Saumier when he was younger.
