I was watching Rosie O'Donnell on "Who Do You Think You Are" this evening, and they mentioned the NYC Municipal Archives. Looking at their website, they don't seem to have any information online. I was wondering how easy it is to search the Archives. I hope to get to NYC sometime soon since my husband is from the Bronx.
Erica, have you ever researched there? Mary
I keep meaning to go down there! Impressive looking joint isn't it.
Genealogical records are actually held separately by borough:

For the Bronx you need to figure out the dates you're looking for, as it wasn't part of NYC until 1874 and became a separate borough in 1898.
