It seems unlikely to me that Ann Clarke, born in Newport, Rhode Island could have ended up in Bucks County, PA? Does anyone have an explanation?

I've just noticed this also.
The children don't fit either, bring born too close together.
The only solution is to detach her from from the alleged marriage in Penns Manor and add another as yet unnamed woman to be that wife.

I will now do so.

Related message to profile managers sent a moment ago:
Managers of Ann Brown (Clarke),

I am contacting you about this profile: Ann Clarke of Newport
I am another GENi curator and I see that the husbands and children around this profile don't fit.

There is no way for this Ann née Clarke to have had the three husbands and so many children in such a short period of time.

My proposed solution is to disconnect Samuel Brown of Penn's Manor PA and all of his PA children.

Do I have your approval?

Let's continue this conversation in the already existing discussion on this profile: "How did Ann Brown get to Penn's Manor?"

Sincerely,

The problem will be to get all the versions of the tree to icnclude so many disparate profiles.. such as: Samuel Brown of Penn's Manor

There was already someone on GENi who had a different Ann Brown as the wife of Samuel. I am using her to become the "new" mother of all the PA children: Ann Brown

If I have made any/many mistakes in rearranging this part of the PA Samuel Brown tree, please let me know...

Samuel Brown of Penn's Manor now has his children consolidated with him in what I believe to be the correct pedigree. Again, please let me know of any errors and/or omissions.
