My mother in law was Betty Rae Elder. She was the only child of Winifred and Stanley Wilson. Betty passed before I could get genealogy information from her. I was on this website doing mine and my husbands genealogy and came across the surname Van Sickler. I was so excited to find out who Winifred's family was. Now I can imput information about her. I plan to scan a photo of Winifred at a later time. I am looking forward to finding anything I can out about Betty's family.

Hi Paula:

Betty Rae Elder was born Betty Rae Wilson and was the daughter of Stanley Wilson (my great uncle) and @Winnifred (Van Sickler) Wilson. I have Stanley's obituary that mentions your mother-in-law, as well as all the info on his other brothers and sisters (his sister Hazel was my grandmother). I was saddened to see that Betty Rae passed in October 2010, and would be happy to give you as much information as I have on this side of the family. That is so great! I only have a newspaper clipping of Stanley with his profile. I would love more. I truly have nothing for that side of the family. I don't suppose you would have any pictures of @Stanley E Wilson I could use for his profile page do you? I will gladly email you for more info. Thank you for getting back to me.
