Kashmiri surnames in general are very odd sounding in general but thussu surname is oddest.What may be its origin?
My father says that it originated from our ansestral village which was known as THUS. K.K.THASSU( we changed it to THASSU from THUSSU)

@Thussu, Thassu,Thasu,Thusu,Thusoo.are some variations of this Kashmiri Pandit surname . There is a Thussu Mohalla in Srinagar.
