I wish I could add a picture file to this post. But I am seeing a merge issue for a person named Anette Lõhmus. She appears to have another sister by the same name? Is this true?

The merge issue is between these two profiles, probably because two trees have been merged and only the Geni user him/herself are allowed to merge profiles into their own profile.

The general advise is to just delete duplicates of user (claimed) profiles.

I would rather not merge with the profile that I did not create on 12/31/2010. I would like my original profile restored with all my family members. Also, I notice that my sister now has a public profile. She is not going to like that and it could cause me problems. What is going on? Who makes these decisions and changes and at what point would I (the manager) be notified of them? Thanks for an explantation and a solution.

As I said: Simply delete the public duplicate of the claimed profile instead of trying to merge it. All other profiles should however be merged because it have an influence on access to common relatives.

In any case any family member can merge, edit, delete or change privacy of any profile (except claimed profiles) within the family group.
