WOMEN's SURNAMES

If FRANCES CLARK is daughter to PHILLIP RANDALL and JOANNA FLUSH why should
d she be assigned her husband's surname???? She is actually RANDALL Flush or Flush RANDALL Otherwise, in my opinion, it is completely confusing and 'male chauvinist' and above all: the real track of ancestors little by little will be fading away. I think we should keep both our maternal and paternal surnames at least in our family trees so as to view the real names of our ancestors.
