According to the book "Adam and 500 more Cunninghams of the Valley of Virginia, c. 1734-c. 1800", David Cunningham, Jr. was appointed Constable of Augusta County on 19 February, 1788. The book also referenced the Augusta County Order Book No. XX. I looked it up and it led me to a page (http://genealogytrails.com/vir/augusta/orderbooks.html) which listed, among others, book XX of November 22, 1788.
Would anyone know where I can find a copy of this.

I am from Augusta County and I have some Cunningham ancestors. My oldest known ancestors are Samuel Steele, his daughter Anna Cunningham and her son Unknown Profile. Maybe we are related.

Well, I also have an ancestor named Unknown Profile, who had a daughter (don't know her name). SHe married David Cunningham, Jr. and had 3 kids, Samuel Steele Cunningham, Charles Cunningham and Mary Cunningham.

In my family, Samuel had a brother named Charles Cunningham, but no record of a sister. I think that both Samuels are the same person

I'll try and merge our common ancestors
