Nice that there is a project on Piteå landsförsamling. My grandmother's grandfather Carl Fredrik Forsberg, a son of a borgare in Piteå stad (early 19th century) came from Piteå to Finland. His ancestors are from Sikfors, Långnäs, etc. He has ancestors also from nearby Skellefteå and Luleå, and even from Nätra (Ångermanland).
BTW, I was working in Seattle (actually Redmond) in 1997-1999!
