How do I get rid of a 'No Name' so called relative from my tree?
How do I change an e-mail address?

I still cannot find answers to my 2 questions.
To clarify, I do not want to change MY e-mail address, but wish to change another in my tree that is wrong.
Much more serious though, I want to delete a 'box' labelled 'No Name' which is supposedly a second brother-in-law to me!!! 'He' doesn't exist! How do I delete the box?

Only the user him/herself can change the email address of he/she have accepted an invitation on that address.

This email is his/hers login to Geni and is valid even if it is not a valid email anymore. The email is only used as an email for family news and if the user try a password recovery.

If he/she does not remember the password they have to ask help@geni.com for help, explaining the situation.

When it comes to the "no name" profile simply select Contact Profile Manager on the profile and ask him/her to delete it.

If you post some links here or as a message to me I can take a closer look.

Thanks for your offer to help.
But the point is, I am the Profile Manager, and I have no idea how to access these two things to make changes to them, change/correct one, and delete the other. There doesn't seem to be any way of doing this, not to mention HOW this 'No Name' got there in the first place!!!!
If you can steer me in the right direction (what to go into, etc) I'd be happy to make these changes. I repeat, this is MY Family Tree which I started some 2-3yr ago.
The other extremely annoying thing is the totally American ONE WAY ONLY method of referring to a name - First Name, Middle Initial, Last Name - NO VARIATIONS. It so happens that a number of my family - and this is common in UK - are known by their Second or even Third name. My own name is Murray John Burton, and I go by JOHN. Thus I have to bracket my 'Second Name' - (Murray), but this is what I get called on this website. Same with many others in my family. VERY annoying.

John,

Have you tried using the Display name field? In genealogy you always record a persons name as it is legally, but Geni does give us the ability to define a Display name. That allows the other users on Geni to decide what they want to see for a name by choosing to let Display name over ride or by always seeing the name using the First, Middle, Last combination.

About the No Name, To me it sounds like an email was put in a profile, that invited the person to Geni. That person perhaps didn't like that you put all that data there and cleared out the profile. They have partially claimed the profile which leaves you listed as the manager, but doesn't give you the rights to edit or delete the profile.

Potentially you can disconnect the profiles relationships if you are a Pro user. Beyond that there is no way to "fix" it.

Thanks for the quick come-back, Jonathan.
I will look into what you suggest (haven't time right now, so don't expect a 'wow' just yet!)
As to the No Name origin, yes, somewhere I did see a very strange e-mail address connected to this entry, somewhere, sometime recently, but I think I deleted it in disgust!
But what you suggest could not possibly be factual, since there is no such 'position' in the tree. My wife has ONE brother and NO sisters, so another box just doesn't exist, for anyone! This 'person' must have added it him/herself just to be annoying, I guess, and now it's up to me to try and reverse it! No idea how this could have happened.
Let me see what I can do, given what you suggest above.
