He died in 1704 so I know the pic is not of him. The person who uploaded the pic has not been on since Oct. How do I get rid of it?

How does that help?
Why not simply contact the owner of that photo to untag the profile from it?

In any case: Neither projects members, ordinary users or curators can untag a profile from a picture, discussion, source or document if you are not the owner or a family group member of the owner.

We have asked Geni several times for a solution on this.
