I think this project should be an opportunity for descendants of the Palatine refugees of early 18th Century to get together, compare notes of family traditions and stories and maybe clear up long standing brick walls.
Anyone who is a descendant of one of the Palatine Families would be welcome to join in as a project collaborator.

I am not a descendant of a Palantine family but I live in the Palantine area so could help

Thanks for letting me join you all. I was married to a German lady, whose father was a history buff. I asked him once what he knew about my family and he relayed what amounts to the Palatine Families story. That was 40+ years ago. As I became more immersed in genealogy I discovered the Poor Palatines, did my own research and discovered what amounts to verification of my father-in-law's story.

I believe my the Drollinger Family may be somewhat on the fringes of the Palatine Families both geographically and in terms of time of their movement, but still think they were of the same experiences. For instance, the first 3 children of my 6th great grandparents, Hans Michael and Eva Klemmer Drollinger died as infants.

@Anne-Marie Healy-Kalishoek I only just saw your post on this discussion - it could be very helpful.. I may get back to you on this later.
