Thanks for letting me join you all. I was married to a German lady, whose father was a history buff. I asked him once what he knew about my family and he relayed what amounts to the Palatine Families story. That was 40+ years ago. As I became more immersed in genealogy I discovered the Poor Palatines, did my own research and discovered what amounts to verification of my father-in-law's story.
I believe my the Drollinger Family may be somewhat on the fringes of the Palatine Families both geographically and in terms of time of their movement, but still think they were of the same experiences. For instance, the first 3 children of my 6th great grandparents, Hans Michael and Eva Klemmer Drollinger died as infants.
