Did you know that Texans researching their family trees have a public library Internet service that's free for the asking? It's TexShare, sponsored by the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
Just go to your local library and request a TexShare logon and password. When you get home and log on, you will find that you have access to HeritageQuest's census records and its other research materials.
Also, available to you will be Texas Digital Sanborn Maps, Handbook of Texas Online and Texas Reference Center.
And those are just a few of the many free available resources. If you want a printout to take with you to the library, go to http://www.texshare.edu/
