Some pages showing in my family trees have a single numeral showing just above the page. It is NOT in a white circle, and it is NOT in a green leaf. It is by itself. What does it mean?

Above a node in the tree?

If the focus profile in the tree is rearranging siblings compared to the birth order because you add to or edit it, making it the leftmost node, the number shows the recorded birth order.

That sounds like it, but I don't know about "the focus profile," where to set it or even see it.

Steven,
when you open the tree FROM a profile, or when you click the Tree link on a profile's box IN the tree, that person's box is drawn in white. THAT is the Focus Person of the tree.
