I cannot figure this new feature out. Suddenly it says I have "5 New Discussions" but when I click on it, I get a list of all the discussions. I assume that there have been the most recent changes to the top 5, but frankly, this feature is useless as it is.

It means there have been 5 replies to discussions you are following. To filter the discussion list to only show the ones you are following, check the box at the top of the page.

I'm sorry, I meant PROJECTS. The New Projects link.

I definitely need another cup of coffee. Within the past week there is a new feature "Updated Projects" which is in the same little box in the upper right hand corner as the merges and discussions.

It gives a number but basically when you click on it, up come all the projects, or if you have checked the box, all the projects you are following.

I want to understand WHAT the designers of this feature thought it would add.

Hatte,
look at the list, above the Suggested Projects box is a checkbox that says "Show only projects I'm following". Do you see it? If you check that, it will filter the list of projects. You will then find highlighted the projects [that you follow] that have changed since you lasted logged in.

Thanks Shmuel. I did check that box already. I'll look again but that didn't seem to make any difference.
