I was always told that three brothers immigrated to USA and have date of immigration but can't find the ship's registry to find them or even find which ship they were on (date from Denis
Brennan's census info he supplied). Denis married first to Harriet Randal and is
mentioned in the Randal book. I was told that she had 2 children (twins) and that
Andrew was one of the twins and had the exact same birthdate. This was in RI and
she and the girl were buried in either Johnstone or Stoningham, RI. He moved back to
Mass where the ship had come in and lived in Medford, Mass and married 2 more
times and when older lived in Conn with his son's family. I thought he died there but
it is said he had moved back to Medford, Mass and died there. Anyway this is what we had found out through research and family tales (I spoke with Conn family who had been searching for the twin brother and when I called they knew they had "finally" found him and his family. BUT years later a researcher said this wasn't so but that Denis was the Uncle of Andrew and son of one of the other 2 brothers but not sure which one and can't find hide nor hair of either of them. I doubted this but when I got some pictures that my cousin, Wanda Williams Wheaton, sent that were my grandma's of a trip they took in early 1900s on the back of a couple pictures it mentioned her "father's cousin James Brennan" and the address in Conn etc (which is how I contacted the family in first place because they STILL lived in that house). So I realized this was correct and that Denis would have been an uncle for James to be the cousin of Andrew. So what the name is I don't know yet -- but know that this would go with the tale my grandmother, Zee Etta, told me many times about how he had been taken by his uncle when the uncle joined the Civil War and that Andrew also joined as a
newsbutch and around 10yrs old then.
