Links posted to news are not appearing as links

Such an option will just be misused as spammers, and secondly that page is not official yet....

So better to disable also the Geni mail system, discussions, projects etc. where somebody can post something (especially links) as all these can be easily used by spammers?!

The referred page was just an example.

P.S. Links don't work also:
in language phrases translation comments and
in language translators forum.
P.S. P.S. Why references to profiles, like [ [ 285725352490006131 ] ] (without spaces) are working only inside (Public and Family) discussions (at least for non-PRO's it is so)?

In any case,- delete the message about that page,- it might not be published because there are reports that people using it ends up as the top-users on network usage with the risk that Geni might be banned of it is on a company network.

If I will write here (together with other text):
"Post your latest news here"
and will press
"post news"
then such link etc. appears in:
"Recent activity"

Test1: person@company.com OR mailto:person@company.com
Test2: www.organization.org OR http://www.organization.org/

In posted news no one appeared as news!
The same for translated phrase comments (Why?) and for translators discussion topics (Why?).
Here in public discussions - all are working links,
And if they will then arrive in news-feed as reference to discussion topic then they are all working links again!
